Hard Maple Wooden Spatula for Cast Iron Cooking / Nonstick Safe Handmade Cooking Utensil

$18.99

Availability: 5 in stock

This hard maple spatula is great for cooking especially with cast iron, as it is will not harm your seasoning. It's also great for your nonstick pans because it won't scratch (and won't melt if you leave it on the edge!).

Use it to scape, stir and break up ground meat or clean your cast iron by using it to loosen burned on material. Spatula is 11" long x 2 1/4" wide and 3/8" thick.

Each hand-made spatula has been finished with Real Milk Paint cutting board oil. All natural ingredients, free of mineral oil and petroleum products. The oil is comprised of grapefruit seed oil, palm-fruit oil, refined almond oil, rice bran wax and hemp floral wax which boosts the antifungal and antibacterial properties of the oil and provides long-term moisture and conditioning.

Spatulas are made in Michigan with lumber purchased locally. We personally use these spatulas in our own kitchen and it's a favorite for cooking ground meat. You can see we even use it with acidic foods like homemade pasta sauce! Unlike plastic utensils, the spatula doesn't stain with tomato-based sauces!

Care is very easy! Wash with warm water and let dry completely. Lightly wipe with a food grade oil (olive oil, vegetable oil, etc.) after each use.
